We are passionate people, lovers of our region, sportsmen, less sportsmen, bon vivants, travellers, workers, cyclists, road, trail, uphill, downhill, builders, dreamers, explorers, we are : La Pelle Du Sentier.
An association of cyclists who want to make the Chablais evolve by developing Enduro mountain biking through events, maintenance actions, legalization of trails and support to municipalities in the development of MTB projects.

HERITAGE
The Chablais has a network of extensive trails linking the valleys and villages together. Many paths are little used, some have faded over time, others have been created by the people who use them. The offer is rich and above all already existing, it only remains to formalize it to obtain a first class TRAIL CENTER.
TRANSPORTATION
Our region, like its vast network of trails, also has a very dense transport network linking the villages but also the plain to the mountain resorts. At the top, ski lifts have been in place for decades and facilitate access to the summits. This network and accessibility are unique and make the Chablais a region of choice for developing the practice of mountain biking ENDURO
TOURISM
The Chablais / Alpes Vaudoises region is "touristically" developed. Hotels, sports centres and ski lifts are already in place and they have, above all, the capacity to absorb visitors. In winter, more than 3 million visitors are visiting the Alpes Vaudoises. Creating a TRAIL CENTER means opening up to a new clientele and thus diversifying the region's 4-season tourism.
CLIMATE
The climate of the Chablais is perfectly suited to mountain biking and global warming is only prolonging the mountain biking season here. With warm and short winters, enduro riding extends from April to December in the Chablais. But it is increasingly common to be able to ride the low or medium altitude trails all year round.

OUR VISION OF MOUNTAIN BIKE DEVELOPMENT
Globalize
A quality TRAIL CENTER extends over a whole region. You have to think about the offer in a global way because the trails and the people who use them do not stop at the communal borders. They follow an itinerary, an adventure, they go from point A to point B and simply enjoy it.
Sustaining
The creation of a TRAIL CENTER Chablaisien would make it possible to perpetuate the region's trail heritage. The maintenance and general quality of the trails would be improved through the joint efforts of the association and the municipalities.
Federate
Thinking in a global way, implies to gather around the project all the partners concerned. Collaboration between municipalities, tourism partners (Tourist Office, ski lifts and transport), traders and riders is mandatory to develop mountain biking in a healthy and optimal way.
Standardize
In order to remain a simple, understandable and attractive offer for riders, the TRAIL CENTER must be promoted in a uniform way by all the tourist office.
